We at Jacksonville State University recognize the need for our students to be global citizens to compete in the real world once they graduate. We therefore celebrate diversity and welcome students from all around the world.
In the United States, students are required to complete a certain number of credit hours from the general education curriculum to broaden their knowledge in diverse areas such as English, Humanities and Fine Arts. Natural Sciences, Mathematics, History, Social and behavioral science.
Students will have the opportunity to choose from variety of general education courses, electives and major courses depending on the major they select.

International Student Organization (ISO) provides a platform for international students to be creative with organizing activities on campus. As an ambassador for one's unique culture, each ISO members hold responsibility of educating campus community and Calhoun county community of their respective culture.

In order to ensure your academic success at JSU, we ask for proof of English proficiency test score. You will have many options to choose from when it comes to taking the English proficiency test. Some of the popular ones are TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, iTEP etc.
Students must submit at least one of the standardized test score as indicated below.
